DAY 10 - THE EUGGELION OF GOD
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” Romans 1:16 (NKJV)
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. The word translated to “gospel” in this verse is the Greek word “Euggelion”. This means news which is nearly too good to be true.
Each time you hear the gospel of Christ, you are hearing God’s good news for you. And the Bible tells us that the gospel of Christ—the good news that God wants all men to hear—is the very power of God for your salvation. The only good news to the poor is that you don’t have to be broke another day in your life. Good news to the sick is that divine health is your portion.
You see, when the Bible says that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation, it is not just salvation from hell, but also salvation from illnesses, financial lack, harm, a failing marriage — every aspect of your life that needs saving! I have good news for you today. Christ has already paid for you to have perfect peace, to have nothing missing and nothing broken in your life. As you meditate on the good news today, may the power of God begin to strengthen your mortal body. May all that has been stolen from you, be restored in the Name of Jesus!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION:
“I have moved from death to life by the power of the good news. Through God’s grace, I now live a life of abundance and prosperity in the Name of Jesus.”
