DAY 1 - AUTHORITY AND POWER!

“Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”” Luke 4:36 (NKJV)

In this verse, the two words “Authority” and “Power” do not carry the same meaning. Many confuse these two words. Although they are closely linked, they certainly do not mean the same.

Authority refers to legal rights being exercised, whereas power is the dynamic ability to cause change.

The phrase “cast out devils” means, to throw away, push away, thrust out, kick out. It’s something that takes more than legal right - it takes power. That power came to reside in you when you received the Holy Ghost.

Learn to stir up that power by speaking in tongues. Stir yourself up in the power of the spirit, and be conscious of your authority as a believer. If you do this, no unclean spirit or attack of the enemy will be able to touch you, because of the power that you have stirred up in prayer and in the Word.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION:

“I receive authority and power to dominate in this life. Every stubborn situation is bowing down, and I carry the ability to cause change. Everything is turning around for my good, in Jesus Name.”
