DAY 6 - THE POWER OF PEACE
“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.” Romans 16:20 (NKJV)
When you think of how peace is likened to tranquillity and a state of calmness, it seems erroneous for the Bible to speak of a God of peace crushing the enemy. How can our perception of peace be used to bring destruction?
There’s a great revelation in this verse. You see, one of the greatest weapons of the enemy is fear. Through fear, the devil cripples believers, and renders the power they carry against him ineffective. This works because fear keeps us focused on defeat. But the story changes when peace takes over.
In the New Testament, we read about how calm and collected Jesus was when a fierce storm threatened to drown the ship that He and His disciples were in. He was in a state of peace. It was in this place of peace that He rebuked the storm and commanded it to be still. It immediately obeyed! That’s how powerful the force of peace is.
When you are at peace, you see how trouble departs. This releases the God of peace and His power to quickly nullify the opposition coming against you, and He grants you your desired victory!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION:
“I will not be afraid. I have a strong and mighty God on my side. Challenges do not phase me; they crumble in God’s presence. As I go about my day, I thank You, Father, for granting me peace that surpasses all understanding. Thank You for fighting for me. Victory is mine in the Name of Jesus!.”
