DAY 57 - HUMILITY IS THE KEY

“...And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians f irst in Antioch.”

Acts 11:26 (NKJV)

When you are humble like a child, you align yourself to be led. You become teachable, and one who can be guided by another. When you lose this humility, you do not want to be led or taught by anyone. Your pride makes you unteachable and independent.

When people are filled with pride, they resist being put in a group. They resist having to be part of small groups that are being taught the Word of God. “Who is that small group leader and why should I listen to him?” You rarely find people who are proud or rich attending small group meetings or prayer meetings. They feel that they are too big and too proud to sit and be taught the Word of God.

Remember that when you were humble you could attend services, receive teachings and blessings.

If you want to be humble, start by choosing to be like a child again. Decide to be someone who can submit, to be taught be another and be trained in new things.

An immeasurable blessing will come over you as you learn to walk in humility once again.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

“Father, I pray that the spirit of humility will be evident upon my life. As I choose to lower myself, may You lift me up so that You can get all the glory, in the Name of Jesus”
