DAY 51 - THE ART OF FOLLOWING OTHERS

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27 (NKJV)

People like David, Abraham and Joshua are given to us to learn from and to follow. They obtained good reports, received the favour of God and man, and inherited the promises of God. Their lives are our text books, and we ought to learn from them. Every time you read the Bible, you can learn from the victories, the tests, the failures and the stamina of Abraham, David, Moses and many others! The Bible was not written to impress anyone. It contains real life stores from people’s lives. Most of all, it tells a story of how their lives were impacted and completely transformed by God.

There are also people who we call, “God’s Generals” who ministered for the Lord in past generations. There are countless books written by these people and about them, recording powerful and life-changing examples that you can relate to, benefit from, and tap into those same anointings and miracles for your own life! My life and ministry has been impacted greatly by people like Kathryn Khulman, William Branham, Jack Coe and A.A. Allen – among many others! These are powerful generals of God whose lives continually minister to me even up to this day. Their names may not be recorded in the Bible, but their lives and ministries are very significant to our destiny. It is vitally important to follow people who God has used in past generations – whether from the Bible times or from generations part – because you can “catch” the anointing that rested upon their lives.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION:

“Today I choose to humble myself and make myself available to learn from others. I will not rely solely on own knowledge, but make myself available and teachable, in the Name of Jesus!”
