Day 50 - God Is Interested In You

“Jesus saith unto them, fill the water pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And he saith unto them, draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;).”

John 2: 7-9 (KJV)

Isn’t it amazing that the first miracle the Lord performed was to turn water into wine at

a wedding ceremony? He wasn’t compelled to do it - it’s not as if someone’s life depended on it. The wine would simply have run out. However, it was a very important occasion for the newlywed couple, and though it may not have been high on our list of priorities, it was important to God that everything was perfect for them.

This is a clear indicator how much God cares for you and me. Often, we tend to shut him out of certain areas of our lives that we deem to be not so spiritual. But God is interested in everything we do. Can you imagine that He has even numbered every single strand of hair on your head. He knows which strand is number 5 and when number 247 fell out! He is madly in love with you!

He is interested in what you are wearing today, what sort of hairstyle you have, and when you’re hungry. He is not a God of rules and regulations, but a friend that sticks closer than a brother.

The couple at the wedding would have never received that miracle unless they had invited the Lord to their wedding. Invite Him into your everyday life, and miracles will be the result.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

“Today I choose to acknowledge the Lord in everything I do, knowing that He shall never leave me nor forsake me. I am never alone, for He is a very present help in time of need.”
