DAY 44 - MAKE YOUR FAITH KNOWN
“Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.” James 1:3 KJV
If you are willing to wait for the perfect will of God, you will bear much fruit in this lifetime. God is looking for people who are willing to wait upon Him, and trust in Him regardless of how desperate they may become.
The Bible says in the book of Psalms, “be still and know that I am God.” In your stillness and your patience, your faith is made known!
The people who Moses led out of Egypt were in the wilderness for 40 years, primarily because of being impatient. They didn’t want to wait for Moses to come down the mountain, and their impatience caused them to enter the imperfect will of God for their lives.
You’ll come across many people who enter the imperfect will of God because they are impatient. Trusting in God is not always easy. We can be tempted to do something to force change, but when we become spiritually mature, we will become secure in understanding that God knows best. We need to trust Him and believe that all things work together for our good.
May you come to a place in your life where you develop the spirit of patience – and as you do, may you immediately see fruit abounding in your life.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION:
“Today, I choose to trust in what God says in His Word. I fight off every temptation to take matters into my own hands. May peace reign in my heart in this season of waiting. I declare that everything will work out for my good, in the Name of Jesus.”
