Day 43 - How To Get Anointed

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”

Zechariah 4:6 (NIV)

In my years of studying the Word of God, I realized that an impartation of anointing coming through the meditation on God’s Word is a reality. It is a Biblical and doctrinally sound truth.

Anyone who positions himself to soak in the Word, through the Bible itself or through books and sermons, is exposing himself to more of the anointing! When you do

that, the anointing will be evident upon your life.

On many different occasions, I have heard people describe how they have received the anointing as they sat received revelation of the Word.

T. L. Osborne, the great evangelist, described how God changed his ministry as he sat under the ministry of William Branham. It all happened in a moment, and suddenly he was anointed to go out and be a great witness to the world.

The anointing can be likened to beauty – when you see it, you know it! You cannot easily explain how you recognize beauty, but when you see true beauty, there’s no denying it. It becomes visible and recognizable – and so it is with the anointing.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

“I declare that as I spend time soaking up the Word and the presence of God, that the anointing will begin to saturate me, raising me up to do the work of God.”
