DAY 40 - ABIDING IN CHRIST

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” John 15:4 (NKJV)

This verse compares us abiding in God to a branch being connected to the vine. If a branch is severed from the vine, it will not be able to bear fruit. The nutrients which are fed from the vine into the branches are what bears fruit. It’s the same with us and God!

A man separated from God can achieve nothing. When you and I are connected to God – abiding in His presence and under the shadow of His wings – we are fed the nutrients we need to become fruitful, according to the divine nature of God.

The Apostle Paul made this bold statement in Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” He carried the revelation so deep within himself, knowing that he is connected to God and that nothing can be impossible for him. As we abide in Christ, the same power that was working in Christ is at work in us - but it is up to you and I to tap into that power, and to make it work for you.

From today, begin to realize that your fruitfulness is directly relating to being connected to Him as the vine. You have been given all that you need to take dominion, to bear fruit and to be a success. Begin to claim it for your life!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION:

“Just as I abide in Him, so does He abide in me. There is nothing that shall be impossible for me, because He is my strength, my fortress and my defense. I decree and declare fruitfulness over every area of my life, in the Name of Jesus.”
