Day 39 - Going To A Higher Level

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.”

Genesis 26:12 (NKJV)

In the scripture above, we read that Isaac “sowed” in that land. This means that he was working hard, most likely full of dirt, sweating and exhausted whilst ploughing. In this midst of toiling, suddenly the mantle fell upon him, and the blessings of the Lord followed.

This is a clear indication that it is time to invest in the land which you have been given,

commit yourself and work diligently until you see the blessing of God upon your life.

Until you become tired and frustrated with your current situation, you will not move forward in life. When God said to Pharoah through the voice of Moses that He will remove the frogs today, Pharoah replied by saying “not today you can do it tomorrow”. Pharaoh became so comfortable with his current situation that he was willing to spend another day with the frogs!

When you refuse to remain at the same place, dealing with the same circumstances, you will do whatever it takes to move higher!

May you be challenged this day to make the utmost effort in developing yourself, that you will not miss your season of sowing, which ultimately determines your season of reaping!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

“May my eyes be opened to my season of sowing. Complacency is far from me! I shall be faithful in this season, and ultimately have the blessings of the Lord rest upon me!”
