DAY 29 - DON'T FEAR

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

2 Timothy 1: 7 (KJV)

Fear was never part of God’s original plan for you. The first man to ever experience fear was Adam after he had rebelled against God in the Garden of Eden. It was when he heard the Voice of God walking in the garden that Adam said, “I heard You walking and I was afraid.”

You see, the sin he had committed made him fear the same God who had walked

with him in the cool of the day many times before. It was sin which caused him to become vulnerable to the spirit of fear.

Thank God that we are new creation in Christ, full of the Holy Ghost! We don’t have to be afraid of anything anymore, because we have the spirit of power, and of love and of sound mind. We are not perturbed by anything, which is why we can be as bold as a lion even when the odds are against us.

Joshua was commanded to be strong and very courageous, because is assignment required him to be bold. We need to refuse to be afraid in any given situation, knowing that fear of any kind is not of God.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

“I am as bold as a lion! I refuse to be afraid, for perfect love casts out all fear. I declare and decree that I can do all things through Christ who makes me strong!”
