DAY 17 - YOU'VE BEEN ACCEPTED
“And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.” Colossians 1:18 (NKJV)
God’s Word says that Christ is the head and we - the church - are His body. Many read this scripture and fail to see it literally. I’ve never seen a healthy body that’s separated from its head. You cannot say that God sees Christ - the head - as perfect, but sees His body as imperfect. Or that Christ is accepted but His body is not rejected. That means that you and Christ are one, and you have been made perfect!
The measure of Christ’s acceptance with God is now the measure of your acceptance with God! In the same manner, it makes no sense to say that the head is well but the body is sick, or that the head is rich but the body is poor.
Think about it, what Jesus is before God, you - as His body - are as well. As He is, so are you in this world!
Today, God wants you to lay claim on Christ being your head. Start believing that all His perfections, and the joy that He brings to the Father’s heart, has been set to your account. That’s the good news of salvation! You are accepted because of the Cross!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION:
“I stand boldly in the presence of God, knowing that I have been made spotless through Jesus Christ. As He is, so am I. As He is victorious, so am I. May this revelation become alive within me today, in the Name of Jesus.”
