DAY 13 - THE REWARD OF A SEED

“And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”” Genesis 22:12 (NKJV)

How can God say the words, “now I know...” when He is an all-knowing God? The answer is in the Hebrew word, “yada” which is the root word for “know” as seen in this scripture. Yet it means so much more than to simply know something. In fact, it can more accurately be translated as “experiential learning”.

God was actually saying, “I have seen the photograph of your faith!” There was now knowledge by experience - yada knowledge! The biggest seed you can give God is your heart, but the heart will always lead you into giving something physical. This can be proven by any earthly relationship, because there is no love that doesn’t result in giving something, or engaging in an action.

As seen in today’s verse, when you give to God out of a place of obedience and sacrifice, you will align yourself with the protection of God and His hand of blessing.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION:

“I am blessed to be a blessing! I am a warehouse of seeds, and everywhere I go, I will plant seeds which will yield a great harvest! May every seed I sow from this day forward work for me.”
