Conduits to Higher Spiritual Ranks

Let’s just get straight to the word of God and download this weighty revelation into your spirit.  We have been introduced to great men of God from the time of the Bible until now.  Whether these heroes of faith lived in our time or before our time their reputation exceeds them as their accolades ring for all to celebrate and appreciate.  Their hard work is our gain. Like avid art collectors we go to the gallery to view and admire the work of another. Some art collectors are willing to pay any price to own something that represents the talent of another.  

Your vantage point is reading this article.  You too can increase your rank in the spirit and become a general in God’s battalion. 

 We look at God’s generals and believe that they carried a special grace that we do not possess.  Let this limitation in your understanding meet it’s end today for the reality is that there are keys to increasing spiritual rank.  There is something you can do to throw your anchor forward and ascent into higher ranks. 

When you are filled with the Holy Spirit you automatically receive the Word of God in you, and by His Spirit you have already been given the ability to see and experience the supernatural  - John 16:13 (KJV).  By spending constructive time in the word of God you will mechanically enter the door of spiritual expansion.  

In Acts 19:20 (KJV) we learn that the Word of God prevailed and grew mightily. Just this in itself is already giving you a key.

What Romans 8 is saying is that the Holy Spirit has the ability to present to us a foretaste of future glory, that our spirit is groaning within us for higher dimensions and ranks in Him. 

For your convenience, I have excavated 5 ladders from the Word of God that will elevate you to higher spiritual ranks if applied:

1. A MAN FILLED WITH THE WORD IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN A MAN WITH PRAYER BUT WITHOUT THE WORD:

Prayer without relationship and without the Word carries no power. Prayer is not something we do; it is a relationship platform with the Almighty God.  Prayer carries the power to transfer the supernatural power of God to the place where you desire impact but it will be ineffective if it’s not backed by the Word of God. It is the Word of God that gives your prayers power and pin point accuracy.

2. POWER OF EFFICIENCY: 

Consider athletes, they can run fast but only up to a certain point.  As their energy depletes so does their speed.  The power of efficiency will cause you to maintain or sustain a desired speed over a longer period of time.  When the rain began to fall in answer to Elijah’s prayers, he sent word with his servant instructing Ahab to ready his horses and chariot as the rain is about to catch up to him.  

Ahab’s horses were not ordinary they were bread for war and speed.  But despite their agility the Bible teaches us that Elijah girded up his loins and outran Ahab’s chariot and arrived at Jezreel before Ahab. The key words in this text are that Elijah girded up his loins.  

The Bible instructs us in Ephesians 6:10-18 to gird up our loins.  

But with what? With the belt of truth which means with the Word of God.  

Someone with the Word is more powerful than someone with only prayer.  Your prayer must be birthed out of the Word.  The Living Word must be the source of your prayer otherwise it will lack power.  Note that the Bible does not say faith comes by prayer, it says that faith comes by the Word of God and the Word of God that you consistently feed on.

3. INCREASE OF GRACE: 

Many people will argue that it is because of the anointing on someone’s life that enables them to do greater things than others.  But understand this, the anointing we received is exactly the same as theirs.  The difference is in the Grace.  

Grace is something that can be increased.  2 Peter 1:2 (KJV) says clearly that Grace is multiplied through the knowledge of God.  As you invest quality time in the Word of God your spirit expands when permeated with the knowledge of God, thereby increasing your rank.

4. UNDERSTANDING THE CARNAL AND SPIRITUAL MIND: 

Notice in Romans 8:5 (KJV) it says that the carnal mind is enmity against God.  God is saying that your natural mind puts you in a disadvantage because your mind is too learned in the things of the natural.  

For example, your history class, or your science class has educated and trained your mind on the carnal things. So, in essence you have become an expert in carnality.  

As soon as the spirit is introduced it automatically opposes the information and understanding of the natural and vice versa.  Spirit and flesh become arch enemies.  

The modus operandi of this word has made us experts in the language of carnality.  If you had to hear someone walked through a wall your carnal understanding will automatically reject it.  The physics of this world will calculate it as impossible.  

The carnal training your mind has received your whole life will nonsense it immediately. Yet the Bible says that Phillip was suddenly transported after he baptised a Eunuch by the Spirit of the Lord.  We tend to say that it must have been symbolic but how fair can the understanding be if you were not there to experience it, but your brain has already calculated it in an understandable literal it will accept.

5. YOUR LEADER IS YOUR LADDER: 

You can increase your rank in the spirit by means of a leader or mentor.  Someone who is eloquent in the Word and things of God through which God gives revelation knowledge.  By simply deciding on a man of God whom you can connect and learn from.  

Mary understood this when she sat at the feet of Jesus to learn from Him.  We should as a Mary sit at the feet of a mentor who receives the Word of the Lord to impart and edify the flock as Christ.
