10 KEYS TO PROVOKING NEXT LEVELS

Back in the day when swords were the weapon of choice, the edges of the swords would get damaged during battle and the swords man had to reshape and resharpen his weapon regularly.  After each battle he would ensure that his sword was repaired and strengthened for the next battle, a practice never neglected by a good warrior.  If the sword was made well, he would just need to straighten the edge, repolish, resharpen and be good to go but if the sword was poorly made the blade would often break or the blade will become notched meaning that small pieces of metal would be missing from the edge.  There is no way of fixing that other than grinding away the whole edge and reshaping the sword.  If the sword did not make it or suffered too much damage the swordsman new that he needed to make a better one if he was going to survive his next battle.  

This article must be more than information - it must become your personal revelation!

With this in mind we can liken our spiritual walk to the swordsman, we can never enter a next level with the last level’s “sword”, our growth must be progressive.  To become progressive, we need to constantly sharpen and prepare ourselves.  Keep reading as we journey through bite-sized chunks of information, translated to revelation for greater dimensions of spiritual living.

KEY #1 - Desire: 

 

Next levels must be desired to gain entry.  In day to day struggles we forget that we wear and tear.  We must get to a point where we hit a bull’s eye realisation that our wisdom of yesterday needs to increase to a refreshed Rhema word for next level entry and reign.

Some people come for prayer but they do not desire anything nor carry expectation of a desired result in their hearts. What they don’t desire they criticize, but it is desire that brings answers. - Psalm 37:4 NKJV.

If you don’t desire it, you don’t deserve it!

KEY # 2 - Prayer:

 

 

 

Key number one is the ignition to point number two.  It is easy to say pray, pray, pray but your starting point must be desire. Some examples of biblical icons whose prayers started with desire and resulted into changed levels:

• Jabez in 1 Chronical 4:9 NKJV
• Jacob in Genesis 32:24 NKJV

Your next level will need a loaded prayer programme.  As you behold HIM you will be changed but with new levels comes new devils. SMALL doors – SMALL devils. BIG doors – BIG devils.  In a boxing match a featherweight will not be matched with a heavy weight.  At what weight did you start and at what weight are you “boxing” now? Are you being progressive in your spiritual walk? Prayer doesn’t only open doors it also deals with the devils of that door.

Your prayer room is your changing room!

KEY # 3 - Revelation:

You need next level revelation to reach next level elevation.  Challenge yourself and read at least one book a month.  Some have not even read a book this whole year.  You may have been praying but you have not invested in revelation which will bring you to a point of elevation - 2 Corinthians 3:18 NKJV. Hunt for the undiluted word of God and spend time with people who challenge and stretch you. 

KEY # 4 – The Fear of God FEAR:

Many people have lost the fear of God in their lives.  God is always looking for someone who is hungry to be used.  People who are prepared to have God remove anything at any cost that will hinder God from using them as a vessel of Honour to the Glory of His Kingdom.

God uses vessels that will not be hindered by distractions.  He doesn’t look at outward appearances He is interested in your heart. 

Qualification for next levels don’t only come through desire, you need a next level vessel!

KEY # 5 - Direction:

Consider His leading as a master key to next levels. Where He treads you tread.  You do not need skill ,only the ability to recognize and hear Him.

If you are tired of your current level you need to ask God what is next. Wait upon His response, don’t guess you might just guess incorrectly.

God is our compass, failure to hear Him will lead to destruction!

KEY # 6 -  Prophetic Covering:

 

Even Pastors need prophetic covering.  Amos 3:7 teaches that God does nothing unless He reveals His secret to the prophets first. 

KEY # 7 - Boldness:

 

Grasshopper mentality won’t cut it, if you desire a lion’s share you need a lions heart of BOLDNESS. To run with the “lions” you must do what “lions” do. The moment you make the decision to propel forward the enemy of destiny will make a noise.  Noises to conflict and hinder you.  You will need boldness and courage to press beyond the clamour of confronting giants - Numbers 13:33. 

KEY # 8 - A Transformed Mind:

 

Exercising your mind is like exercising your body.  Some possess a fervent spirit but a dead mind.  You cannot change gears into a next level by only being spiritual, you need the wineskin of a renewed mind.

Knowledge will tell you that a tomato is a fruit but wisdom will tell you not to put it in a fruit salad.  On the same token you cannot go to a business presentation and only speak in tongues.  You will be doing the right thing at the wrong time.

KEY # 9 – Fellowship With God and Trust in Him:

 

Many want what God can do for them, but they don’t fellowship with Him for who He is. Through worship and praise we fellowship with Him.  Fellowshipping with God is walking with God not just walking for God.  God desires a walk with each one of us.

To be moved from the one level to the next, we must be able to trust Him. Trust talks about absolute and unwavering confidence in the integrity of God and His Word. 

Just as the swordsman’s hand by a simple repetitive action of passing the whetstone over the blade sharpened his sword, so allow the Holy Spirit to chaperon you by these revelatory guidelines into the pristine condition He has designed you to be.  Your flesh may dull the process of the creative work of God in you but by your faithfulness in His process you will see yourself shining brightly for the Glory of His Kingdom.  

KEY # 10 – Testimonies:

 

Hidden in someone’s next level is your own next level. When someone stands and testify, God is giving you an example of what to do for your own. So in your pastors next level is your own. In the testifiers next level is your own. Be humble and learn.

WHAT YOU CELBRATE, YOU ATTRACT. WHAT YOU CRITICIZE, YOU REPEL.

NEVER STOP GIVING THANKS TO GOD, NO MATTER WHAT!
